Tyler is a Brooklyn-based saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, improvisor, music director, and educator. Well versed in jazz, funk, R&B, chamber music, and more, he offers the unique ability to sound at home in many styles, while maintaining a personal musical voice. As a recording artist, Tyler can be heard on over a dozen albums on saxophones, clarinets, keyboards, and flute. As a freelance performing musician, he has performed extensively throughout New York City and the Northeastern United States, and even as far as Canada and Brazil.

In addition to his career in original music, Tyler has performed as a wedding and event musician for 15 years, covering many genres and eras of popular music, as well as serving as a music director over the past nine years. He also has a roster of about 20 private music students across multiple teaching organizations. His experiences have afforded him a keen ear for artistic detail, deep appreciation for cultural impact of popular music, as well as copywriting and project management skills, along with a giant, eclectic karaoke repertoire list. He hopes to use his professional experience and passion for fellowship to serve the GKK community.
